UPDATE APRIL 21, 2015
Hello SEL for Washington Coalition!
Here is an update on the SEL Legislation. As many of you know, SB 5688 did not make it out of the House Rules Committee for a floor vote. While we are disappointed that the bill has stalled, we are thrilled to see SEL in the House and Senate proposed versions of the budget. While budget negotiations are taking place it is valuable for you to thank legislators for including Social Emotional Learning in the budget and mention how you see that work as essential for the success of students and schools.
Our Ask
Please email or call Senate Ways & Means Chair, Senator Andy Hill and House Appropriations Chair, Representative Ross Hunter using the contact information below. Please include the following in your message.
